Network checks

Solana mainnet uses cluster mainnet-beta; isolated environments use devnet. The backend verifies the configured chain before reading.

One observed block.

Supply and available metadata come from the same block. Successful snapshots are cached for up to 30 seconds per worker.

Metadata & precision

Names and symbols may be absent. Supply and block numbers are strings to preserve precision. If decimals are absent, the response reports raw supply without assuming a decimal count. An observed block is not a finality guarantee.

Before configuration.

Fail clearly.

Invalid settings or failed RPC reads return HTTP 503 and unavailable. Old or invented values are not substituted.

Routing & timeouts

GET and HEAD only. Unknown API routes return 404; query parameters are rejected. RPC requests have an eight-second deadline. Provider errors are sanitized. /api/health checks the service, not the RPC.
